We came to Kangaroo Island on Christmas Day afternoon and were immediately told at the airport that if we had not made any reservations for tours or car hire we would not be able to get anything during our stay because everything was fully booked.which made us a bit sad, coming all the way from Sweden and not be able to explore the Island with all its animals and beautiful nature.Then the lovely Jodi Ross, with their own tour service helped us. During three days Jodi brought us around the Island, picking the right spots and times to really make the best of our tours. Her local knowledge about the Island made the tours more interesting and gave us the feeling of “coming close” to the Islands history, culture, people and wildlife. She arranged everything perfectly suited for our family and with so much heart, bringing the right equipment when we went to the beach or going to watch wildlife at night and had things to play with for the children in the car. Fixing wonderful lunches – our children are still speaking about “Jodis pancakes” and always had cold drinks handy.Our time on Kangaroo Island is the most memorable from our four week long vacation in Australia and we are most grateful that we didn’t make any reservations in advance because then we would have missed out a lot especially the very warm feeling of being together with a close friend.
